I've seen some screenshots sowari posted relating to Reaktor 5 (rather than 5.5, which I find FAR more confusing and unintuitive) and activating a 'hidden instrument' - can anyone show me how to do this in Reaktor 5.5. Reaktor 5.5 (I haven't installed 5.6 yet but MIDI out isn't a 'bugfix' listed on the update so I doubt it's related to that) New Macbook Pro Quadcore, OS 10.5.6 (I think) I should also point out this is on the following system: I'm tearing my hair out here and it must be possible as otherwise there'd be a lot more posts on it here (I've searched this forum and haven't found anyone else with a similar problem). Therefore I think - along with the fact that I've previously been able to get MIDI out to work from other VSTs such as Groove Agent - that the problem lies in Reaktor itself.Īm I missing something incredibly obvious here? Is there a global 'allow MIDI out' switch or similar? I can't find anything in the manual about it except the part where it talks about setting the connection. The MIDI activity monitors are only showing MIDI coming in to Reaktor, and not going out. There is no MIDI data displayed on this MIDI track, even with the orange 'monitor' button pressed in on both tracks. I am then routing through a separate MIDI track as follows: Input set to Reaktor MIDI Out, Output set to the correct channel of Kontakt or another VST. I've tried all 16 channels too but to no avail. It's the same if I try and enable MIDI out for any individual element of the ensemble, e.g. I set the 'connections' page to output to 'plugin' and 'channel 1', but unlike with the output selection to other Reaktor elements within the ensemble, where a tick is displayed once it has been selected, there is no tick. ![]() I've recently been trying - exasperatedly and to no effect - to get Reaktor in Cubase 5.5 to send MIDI to another, separate VST synth (and / or Kontakt, it makes no difference).
